Aromatherapy

aromatherapyAromatherapy is a complementary therapy based on the use of concentrated plant essences (essential oils) extracted from flowers, leaves, roots, peel, resin or bark. It is designed to treat the person as a whole, not just the symptom or disease, by assisting the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself.

Aromatherapy treatments, now recognised by many health professionals, aim to improve both physical and emotional wellbeing. Read more about Aromatherapy

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is an ancient Japanese method of bodywork that stems from similar principles to Acupuncture. Any complaint physical or psychological is evidence that smooth flow of energy has been disrupted. Shiatsu helps to stimulate the body to re-establish a more healthy balance but is non-invasive. Pressure stretches and gentle joint manipulation are used. It is pleasurable to receive and each treatment is tailored to the needs of the body and mind at that time.”
